Neighborly Transportation is a licensed charter car service (TCP #42743) based in Mill Valley, California, serving all of Marin County and the greater Bay Area. We provide airport transportation to SFO and OAK, wine country tours, appointment rides, and special event transportation.
Our fleet includes a Kia EV9 all-electric SUV (up to 5 passengers) and a Ford Expedition Max (up to 7 passengers), both equipped with car seats on request. Fully insured, licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission, and permitted to operate at SFO and OAK.

Meet Ellis Nicholas, the friendly face behind Neighborly Transportation. Born and raised in Belize, Central America, Ellis spent his early career as a tour guide and boat captain, where he developed a deep understanding of hospitality and a natural talent for connecting with people from all backgrounds.
In 2010, Ellis met his future wife, and their life together brought him to Mill Valley—her hometown and now theirs, where they're raising their two young children. What started as a simple favor, driving friends and family to and from the airport, grew into something more. Word spread through the community, and before long, those occasional rides became Neighborly Transportation.
Today, Ellis does what he's always loved: meeting people and making their day a little easier. Whether you're a Mill Valley neighbor or just passing through, he's here to get you where you need to go with the same warmth and reliability his community has come to trust. Your journey matters, and Ellis looks forward to being part of it.

Hourly Service
Book by the hour for wine country tours, appointments, meetings, errands, or anything else you need a driver for. Your driver stays with the vehicle between stops so you never have to wait for a ride. One-hour minimum for local transportation, three-hour minimum for wine country. Perfect for medical appointments, business travel, wedding shuttles, sporting events, or a day out in Napa or Sonoma with a designated driver.

Day Rate
Have your own dedicated driver and vehicle for the full day. We'll pick you up and stay with you for up to 8 hours, whether that's a wine country tour with multiple stops, a full day of appointments, corporate visits, or sightseeing around the Bay Area. Your driver is on call and ready whenever you are. Need more than 8 hours? No problem. Extra time is billed at the regular hourly rate.
